Enemy

A failed creation of the druids that burns in sunlight, the few that were created wandered their way into Overgrown Grotto, a place safe from sunlight where they can flourish.

Overview[]

The Fungeye is a dungeon creature encountered in the Overgrown Grotto. It is another Druid creation similar to the Lileye and Daiseye that prefers dark environments. It uses it's Spore Spray to weaken it's foes.

Skills[]

  • Sporeshot (SP0) - Shoots out a spiked seed, dealing POW4 Damage to one enemy and piercing DEF1 Defense. Dodgeable.
    • (Corruption1) - Damage increased to POW6.
    • (Corruption2) - Damage increased to POW8.
    • (Corruption3) - Damage increased to POW10.
    • Skill is unaffected by Corruption Corruption.
  • Spore Spray (SP1) - Sprays out a cloud of spores, dealing POW2 Damage to all enemies. Inflicts Disarm-2 for two turns if it does damage.
    • Disarm temporarily reduces the victim's POWPower.
    • (Corruption1) - Damage increased to POW4.
    • (Corruption2) - Damage increased to POW6.
    • (Corruption3) - Damage increased to POW8.
    • Becomes brown spore spray at CorruptionCorruption 2
    • Becomes black spore spray at CorruptionCorruption 3
  • (Corruption3) Purple Bomb Toss (SP1) - Deal POW14 Damage and inflicts StunStun for one turn on one target. POW10 Damage to all non-targets. Undodgeable.
    • This results in a total of POW14 Damage (10 to all non-targets) making them hard to put up with.

Strategy[]

While Fungeyes generally aren't much of a threat on their own, their attacks are quite good at getting through defenses and reducing the offensive power of the players, giving them a dangerously potent supporting role when fighting alongside other enemies.

  • Against CorruptionCorruption 1 and 2 Fungeyes, they can be quickly dispatched or delayed using skills such as Barrage or Vine Trap, ensuring they are unable to dull the players' edge during combat.
    • CorruptionCorruption 2+ Fungeyes can sometimes spam Spore Spray which is a serious problem.
  • Against CorruptionCorruption 3 Fungeyes, they become a serious problem as their Bomb Toss deals 1+ more POWdamage than Daiseye's Bomb Toss
    • Despite This, CorruptionCorruption 2+ Fungeyes can be tough of a challenge if not prepared for.

Notes & Trivia[]

  • Spore Spray stacks in turns when multiple are used consecutively.
  • If Spore Spray does 0 damage as result of a block, it still results in Disarm-2 for 2 turns.
  • The player's minimum POWattack is 0, so having DisarmedDisarm-2 with only 1 attack is equivalent to having DisarmedDisarm-1.
  • Fungeyes are one of two enemies that have the Guard style, as evident by their Card. This style is shared with Snowmen.
  • Fungeye's Sporeshot is similar to the the Seedshot from the Daiseye and Lileye. and works the exact same way as Basic Archery with the same damage and 1DEFDefense Piercing.
  • Fungeye, along with Golem, Bedrock and The Bandit King have the most POWPower as a non-corrupted enemy, being 4.
  • Fungeye Is one of the few enemies that have their base skill dealing the same POWDamage as their POWPower (For example If Fungeye has 4 POWPower then their base skill, Sporeshot will deal 4 POWDamage and also adds up an additional 1 DEFDefense Piercing.). The other enemies are Daiseye, Lileye, Golem and Tangler.
  • Eye that the Fungeye uses
    • Violet Eye (Normal-CorruptionCorruption 2)
    • Orche Eye (CorruptionCorruption 3)
  • The model for the legs that uses Fungeye are from the bundle Creature From the Blox Lagoon that costs Robux Icon400 in the Avatar Shop.
